What ails Pravin Mahajan?
Pravin Mahajan complained that he was treated as a dog by his brother Promod and hence he shot him-this is after his late brother had arranged a house for him, a few building contracts as well as a job at 75 K monthly! This is a common trait amongst most siblings of Politicians, and i was witness to a similiar grouse by the brother of a senior Congess politician from western Orissa who constantly complained that he was wasting his time at the job that he was performing, although he was totally undeserving of salary and perks that he was getting.
I think that politicians are so powerful that they can rip off huge amounts form various contracts to the Govt. that they control, that they attract envy and jealousy from their siblings. This power needs to be curbed and i invite suggestions as to how we should go about doing so. The role of Corporate India should also be probed in aiding and abetting this undue misuse of largesse to political bigwigs kinsmen as practically every corporate house has a few of these deadwood that they carry on their payrolls.
